tpr promoted the BBC Arabic Festival, a free, live event showcasing the latest cutting‐edge cinema from today’s Arab world at the stunning Art Deco Radio Theatre at BBC Broadcasting House. Through its programme of films: from observational documentary to short features; comedy to mockumentary, the BBC Arabic Festival shed light on stories behind the headlines.

Project:

tpr media consultants was commissioned to develop and implement a PR campaign with the aim of building the profile of The BBC Arabic Festival among the public and film community. After discussions with the festival team, tpr media designed a campaign focusing on film websites, film critics, specialist media, broadsheets, radio and online. tpr media positioned the festival as programming groundbreaking, inspiring films that shed new light on the Middle East. The aim of the PR was to drive an audience to the festival and to position Arabic film as high quality world cinema. tpr media focused on audiences interested in world cinema and in the Middle East.
