Breathe Arts Health Research have developed an award-winning programme using ‘magical therapy’ to transform the lives of children with hemiplegia – paralysis of one side of the body. During an innovative two-week ‘magic camp’ led by Magic Circle magicians working alongside occupational therapists and physiotherapists, the children are taught magic tricks as well as performance skills to improve motor skills and confidence.

tpr media’s campaign around the summer 2014 Breathe Magic Camp was designed to increase the reputational of Breathe Arts Health Research and create public awareness. This targeted campaign positioned Breathe as an innovative, effective and sustainable service with potential for expansion in the UK and beyond. Coverage highlights included BBC Breakfast, CBBC Newsround and features in the Guardian and Mail on Sunday.
