Project:

Using our specialism health-related campaigns (see Junior Doctors - Justice for Health), we collaborated with a number of health correspondents and editors across TV, radio and print and pitched case study led features linked to a number of key contributors. tpr also liaised extensively with BBC Health Online to publish two stories on cutting-edge surgery techniques and worked closely with the Trust to put forward contributors. This led to some key pieces in national media, including the opening interview with Jenni Murray on BBC 4 Woman’s Hour with Caroline Shaw, Nottingham Trust’s Chief Operating Officer, as well as a feature on a day in her life for The Telegraph woman’s page. Other major key pieces included a feature spread in the Times T2 supplement with a leading surgeon about the crisis in head and neck cancer surgery and a feature interview with one of the series producers by the Health correspondent for i-news. Stories were shared extensively on social media.
